I'm Benoit, the travel nerd behind Wandr!
Wandr was born out of a simple realization: trip after trip, I found it increasingly difficult to find trustworthy, authentic travel advice. Guidebooks felt outdated and the internet was saturated with “Top 15 things to do” articles and sponsored content that just didn't help. I couldn't find a place online that spoke to travellers like me, those who seek a deeper understanding of the places they visit and who believe travel should be more about genuine exploration and human connection and less about ticking off famous landmarks or chasing the most "Instagrammable" spots. So, I decided to build that place.
A great journey starts with comprehensive information you can trust. That's why we are doing the hard work of finding top experts who truly know their destinations inside and out, to bring you honest, high-quality travel advice you won't find anywhere else. And the best part? It's completely free. Because we believe that everyone should have access to trustworthy travel information without a price tag.
