- Prokletije National Park is the most dramatic hiking destination in Montenegro and encompasses most of the Prokletije mountains, forming the natural border between Montenegro and Albania. It is home to the highest peak in Montenegro, Zla Kolata (2,534m), and is an appealing destination for its seclusion because it is one of least-visited mountain area in Europe
- The Grebaje Valley is one of the best base for exploring the park and gives access to the most impressive day hikes in the Prokletije mountains. The Volušnica – Taljanka – Popadija trail offers the best views on mighty Karanfili peaks. This is a full day hike, quite strenuous but incredibly rewarding in terms of views and photography
